Sofia turns 2 years old!!!

Sofia turned two last month!! Where did the time go? I have transitioned her from her bottle to her sippy cup. She is totally protesting it. My parents give in & give her the bottle but I just don't want her to have funny looking front teeth. On occassion she will take the milk in a sippy cup but she knows I will not give her the bottle.

We had a little birthday party for her. She had so much fun!! She loved blowing out the candles. We did it a couple of times to get a good picture. She wore a Tu-tu because she turned 2 and she puts on a tu-tu everyday. She loves it and walks swaying her hips to make the tu-tu move.

Dixon Mothers Club Halloween Party

The girls had a great time playing with the other kids at the Halloween Party! Sofia was a Fairy. Jasmine was a China Doll. Jasmine picked out what she wanted to be in a costume magazine. Then I remembered that I had the perfect dress for her.

Circus day at Sunshine Preschool

Jasmine was a "Tight Rope Walker" at preschool for Circus Day. She didn't get a balancing stick. It is too dangerous. Teacher Laura had her backyard set up with a balancing beam, hula hoops, etc. It looked like a lot of fun.

Today Jasmine for the first time played "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on the Xylophone. She was reading the letters on the board and hitting the corresponding letters on the Xylophone!! How cool is that? Teacher Mike is awsome!! She loves her music class!!

Our Lake Tahoe Vacation

Last week we went to Lake Tahoe for a family vacation. We had so much fun!! On our first day there we went to Garnerville's Pumpkin Patch. We petted goats, pigs, rabbits, and pony's. We watched an exciting pig race against Pumpkin, Bacon, Wilbur, and Charlotte. Pumpkin Won (Mommy's Pick)!

On Sunday, Mommy & Daddy went on a bike ride - 25 miles. It was cold! Jasmine & Sofia went with Lola to the Heavenly Gondola Shopping Area.

On Tuesday, we visited with Uncle David & Auntie Joanne in Homewood. The girls loved the dogs (Chopper & Pepper). Auntie Joanne kept the girls very well entertained with the toys she had. She also told us about how a bear broken into their cabin. It sat and ate all their sweet stuff - honey, syrup, frozen pizza, etc.

On Wednesday, we visited Zephyr Cove and played on the beautiful rocks. We walked along the beach. Our Friends Leila & Gil stayed with us the rest of the trip.

On Thursday, we hiked down to Emerald Bay to see the Vikingsholm Castle. It was a 1mile hike down the hill & a 1 mile back up the hill. Shawn ended up carrying both kids. It was really cool and the water was so clear!!

On Friday, we went on the Wave Blue boat which toured the lake. The Blue Wave is a 70 foot Luxury classic tour boat. It was nice and Jasmine said it wasn't too fast. We went to Emerald bay, and was very close to the only island on the lake where there is a little Tea Castle. At the mouth of Emerald bay the boat registered 8feet to the bottom!!

On our way home we stop at Apple Hill!!! Yum, Yum. I pick up some apples, caramel apple, & apple wine (we picked up some apple pies on the way to Tahoe).
